THIRD - FOURTH GRADE DIVISIONS

• There are two referees per game.
• In the case of a “bad” throw-in, the ball goes to the other team.
• A handball will not be called unless it is intentional or gives the team committing the foul an advantage. A good rule of thumb is to ask: Did the hand play the ball or did the ball play the hand?
• No touching of the goalie will be permitted.
• Offside shall be called.
• Keep the players on their feet and discourage the use of slide tackles.
• There are 4 quarters of 12 minutes each.
• Teams alternate kickoffs each quarter
• The ball is a size 4
• There are 8 players including the goalie
• The goalie will be called for a foul if he holds the ball more than 5-seconds
• Teams may substitute only on their possession during a stoppage of play
• Jewelry shall not be worn; this includes hair barrettes and earrings.
